LinkedIn accounts, answered one question at a time

The LinkedIn listings in this shop differ in a handful of details: the country the account was registered from, the mailbox it is tied to, whether a 2FA key or a cookie file comes with it, how long ago it was created and how much of the profile is filled in. The title of each listing names those details.

The questions on the right are the ones buyers send us most before ordering. Each link jumps to its answer further down this page.

Which kind of LinkedIn listing suits me?

Most listings fall into one of four groups. Decide first what you need on day one: a session you can open straight from cookies, a login protected by your own 2FA, an account with some history behind it, or a profile that already has some content.

The groups overlap. An aged account can also have 2FA on, and a country listing can come partly filled. The title always says which details apply.

Country session kitRegistered from one country, such as Germany, France or the USA. Comes with an Outlook mailbox, the user agent and cookies.
2FA key accountsTwo-factor login already switched on; the key is part of your line. Usually fresh, often days to a few weeks old.
Aged accountsFrom one to six months old, around 700 days, or registered between 2022 and 2024, with access to the original mailbox.
Filled profilesPartly filled in, male or female. Some listings mention contacts, and one family has 100 or more connections.

Which mailbox comes with the account?

The one LinkedIn was registered with. In most listings that is an Outlook or Hotmail address; others use Gmail, an AT&T mailbox on currently.com, or a rambler.ru address. The title names it, and the mailbox password is in your line.

This mailbox is how LinkedIn reaches the account owner: sign-in alerts, password resets and confirmation codes all land there. Some listings warn that LinkedIn may also ask for a phone confirmation; read that before you buy if you do not have a number to use.

Listings without email access

A few cheaper listings deliver only the LinkedIn login. Without the mailbox, a password reset is not possible, so those accounts suit short tasks only.

What are the user agent and cookies for?

Session kit listings include the browser cookies of a signed-in LinkedIn session. Import them with the Cookie-Editor browser extension, reload linkedin.com, and you are inside the account without typing the password.

The user agent is a text line naming the browser and system the session was created with. It is delivered so you know what the session came from. The password and mailbox still matter: cookies end when the session ends, and you sign in normally after that.

Where does the 2FA code come from?

From the 2FA key in your line. When LinkedIn asks for the six-digit code, paste the key into a 2FA code generator (https://checkkit.net/en/online-2fa-code-generator) or add it to an authenticator app, and type the code it shows.

Lines from these listings usually read login, password and key, separated by colons. Store the key with the password: a 2FA account cannot be opened without it.

What should I change once I am in?

Open Settings, then Sign in & security. Change the password, add an email address you control and make it primary, and set up two-step verification with your own authenticator app. Then look at the list of active sessions and end the ones you do not recognise.

If you edit the name, photo or work history, write details that are true for the person or team who will use the account. A profile that pretends to be someone else breaks LinkedIn's rules and ours.

Keep a copy offline

Save the original line, the new password and your new recovery codes in a password manager before you close the tab.

What if LinkedIn will not let me in?

Sign in to each account inside the warranty window shown on the listing. If the password is refused, the account is restricted, or LinkedIn asks for a check the listing did not warn about, open a ticket from your order page with a screenshot before the window closes. You get a replacement from the same listing, or a refund when it has none left.

Signing in never uses up the warranty. It does not cover a restriction caused by bulk or automated activity, such as mass invitations, mass messages or scraping tools.

LinkedIn's terms

LinkedIn does not allow accounts to be transferred, and it can ask any account to verify identity or restrict it at any time. Use the accounts within LinkedIn's terms and the law.
